Paris Saint-Germain have allowed the player to leave for the for the opening of his trial on suspicion of irregularities surrounding his transfer from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.
According to the complainant company DIS fund (the holder of 40 per cent of the player’s rights at the time), the transfer was undervalued at €57.1 million (where the family of the player got €40 million and left the company aggrieved), making the 30-year-old a prime suspect in a scam case.
