Bully Ray Praises The Miz For his “Impossible” Comeback in WWE

Bully Ray recently had some kind words for The Miz on Busted Open. The WWE Hall of Famer gave Miz props for his comeback in Vince McMahon’s company, which saw him rise up after falling down the ladder.

“Miz was at the top of the food chain. He was WWE World heavyweight champion. He was ranked No.1 on the PWI 500. Top of the world. And then what happened? Rug got pulled out right from underneath him.

So, The Miz was knocked from the top rung of the ladder all the way down to the bottom rung.

Now look at where he is. Look at the work he’s done, that resilience. He climbed to the top, he got knocked down to the bottom and he’s climbed back to the top again.”

It’s indeed apparent that Miz’s career rebounded in the past few years and that’s all thanks to his efforts. Miz kept working hard despite WWE rarely using him or spotlighting him in any real way. But whenever his number was called, The Miz always delivered and then some.

Bully Ray went on to state the significance of Miz’s resurgence in WWE.

“For those of you who don’t really get it: in the WWE, what The Miz has done, is as close to impossible as it gets. Because once you get knocked down and your stock drops in the WWE, very rarely does it ever rise. His has not only risen, it’s skyrocketed back to the top.”

Bully also pointed out that if Miz won the World title now, fans would likely not be arguing about it. That is indeed a testament to Miz’s work ethic, as well as the dedication to his character.

The Miz is on his way to a high profile match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 35. The bout is Falls Count Anywhere and it’s definitely a grudge match between the two former best friends and tag team champions.
