Currently, there is no WWE Divas title match officially scheduled for Sunday’s WWE Battleground pay-per-view. Originally, WWE had planned to have Nikki Bella defend the WWE Divas Championship against Paige at Battleground, however that was before the angle was shot on Monday’s RAW where the NXT Divas were called up to the main roster.

This weekend’s WWE Battleground event in St. Louis, as of Wednesday, had sold only 10,500 tickets for the 14,600 seat setup. This marks the weakest advance for a regular WWE pay-per-view this year, not counting Elimination Chamber, which was originally a live event in a smaller venue that wasn’t promoted as a pay-per-view at first.
