Top Raw Star Pulled From Men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match

As we noted earlier tonight, WWE has officially announced Paige will not compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this month following a neck injury.

While WWE has yet to make an official announcement, the company has pulled Samoa Joe from the list of confirmed entrants in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

As noted, Joe suffered a foot injury on Raw last week, and he underwent an MRI following the injury. The results of the MRI are not yet known, but it appears as if the injury, which is believed to be a plantar fascia rupture, which is a thick tissue rupture under the foot. Joe has been pulled from WWE live events through March and is being replaced by The Miz in match advertisements.
