As noted, WWE held The Shield’s Final Chapter live special on the WWE Network on Sunday evening.
During the special, which was designed as a “Farewell” for The Shield trio of Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, as well as an apparent “Farewell” for Ambrose in WWE in general.
The special saw The Shield defeat Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin in a six-man tag-team match that took place live from the WWE house show in Moline, Illinois. The show also featured Finn Balor successfully defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Elias.
