According to one source, the plan as recently as this past week was for Daniel Bryan not to win the WWE Championship from Randy Orton at this Sunday’s WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view.

As is always the case when it comes to WWE, especially top pay-per-view programs, those plans could change a million times between now and Sunday. However, with Bryan finally gaining a small measure of revenge on Orton to close out this past week’s RAW, it’s likely that the original plan of Orton retaining his WWE Championship at the pay-per-view this Sunday is still set in place.
