Paul Nardi closing in on FC Lorient move

L’Équipe and Ouest-France report that 25-year-old French youth international goalkeeper Paul Nardi is closing in on a departure from AS Monaco to Ligue 2 side FC Lorient.

Les Merlus have moved to replace Danijel Petkovic following his departure to Angers SCO.

Nardi has spent the last two seasons on loan with Belgian side and Monaco satellite club Cercle Brugge.

The Frenchman has also been approached by Ligue 1 side Dijon, who are willing to offer €1m to buy him, but Nardi appears to be more excited about a move to FCL, where it appears he would more likely be able to hold down a starting spot.
