AS Monaco have this evening confirmed the arrival of 21-year-old central midfielder Youssouf Fofana from fellow Ligue 1 side Strasbourg for €15m.

Fofana has signed a contract until June 2024 with ASM and will continue his career in the Principality, after spells at Espérance Paris, Red Star, Drancy and Strasbourg.

He notably won the Coupe de la Ligue with Strasbourg in 2018/19.
