Jonathan Coachman took to social media earlier this week to shed some light on his status with WWE following a company move that resulted in him being replaced on RAW commentary by Renee Young.
The Coach, who is still with WWE and will be working the company’s “Kickoff Show” pre-shows on the WWE Network leading into pay-per-view events, responded to a fan who tweeted him asking why he isn’t on RAW or SmackDown Live as an announcer any longer.
“I am doing ppv pre shows and other special projects,” wrote Coachman in the first of two tweets on the subject. “Trust me I will be on plenty. A lot of changes in the next year. Think big.”
In an additional tweet, Coach elaborated a bit more.
“I will stay with WWE, yes, but we have a busy 2019 lining up,” said The Coach. “Just moved to west coast so take that for what it’s worth.”
Coachman concluded, “Focusing on cross over and working towards the fall of next year.”
