After the video package, we return live in the Barclays Center where Big Show’s music hits. Lilian Garcia does the formal introduction as Big Show makes his way to the ring for this triple-threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Big Show takes his time, but when he’s finally in the ring, the lights go out and The Miz’s elaborate “Awesome” entrance hits. The Miz’s theme music plays and Lilian Garcia does the official introduction as The Miz makes his way to the ring. Finally, the WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

The bell sounds and here we go with our second championship contest thus far this evening. Big Show immediately goes to work on Ryback as Miz ducks out and stays outside the ring. Back in the ring, Big Show continues to dominate the action. Miz enters the picture but gets taken out via a double-suplex from Big Show to Ryback and Miz.

Big Show climbs up to the middle rope and turns around. He stands up tall but Miz knocks him off and Big Show crashes onto the mat. Miz quickly covers Ryback but the I-C champ kicks out at two. Big Show traps Miz in the corner and blasts him with a few vicious chops. Big Show splashes into Ryback in one corner and Miz in another. Miz jumps on Ryback from behind but Ryback catches him and slams him down to the mat for a near fall.

Miz runs out of the ring again as Ryback slams Big Show down with a spinebuster. Ryback jumps and splashes onto Big Show now. He gets the fans to chant “Feed Me More” as he waits for Big Show to get up. Ryback runs over and picks Big Show up. He hits him with a Shellshock. Miz then quickly runs in and hits a Skull Crushing Finale on Ryback. He immediately covers him but Ryback kicks out at two. Miz then turns and tries covering Big Show but Big Show kicks out at two. Miz knocks Big Show off Ryback during the pin attempt and tries pinning him himself. Big Show breaks up that pin attempt. Big Show grabs Miz by the throat but Miz kicks him in the knee. Backstage: Jon Stewart & Paul Heyman

Backstage, Jon Stewart knocks on Brock Lesnar’s door to get his interview with Lesnar as he promised. Paul Heyman answers the door. Stewart asks if he can have a word with Mr. Lesnar. Heyman says now is not a good time. Stewart asks if this is because he’s an “Undertaker guy.” Heyman asks Stewart how he felt when his beast took out “your guy.” Stewart said wrestling fans didn’t like that, that’s who didn’t like it. He compares other famous streaks ending to Undertaker’s. He asked if Heyman was happy to see all those fans faces looking so sad.

Stewart asks what he thinks of that. Heyman starts defiantly singing, “Glory, glory Brock Lesnar!” He says, “I guess we couldn’t get David Letterman to host this thing, eh?” He goes back in Lesnar’s locker room and says, “You aren’t going to believe this one!”

Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns

From there, we head back into the arena for our next match. Bray Wyatt’s music hits and out he comes as the lights go out. Wyatt carries his latern to the ring as the “fire flies” light up from the fans inside the Barclays Center. Luke Harper follows behind Wyatt during this awesome ring entrance.

Out he comes first. Out next, through the crowd as usual, is Ambrose’s partner this evening, Roman Reigns.

The bell sounds and here we go with this tag-team contest here at WWE SummerSlam. Early on, Reigns and Ambrose have no trouble dominating the offense. They clean house and dominate the action with ease.

Eventually, Wyatt and Harper gang up and take out Reigns and then focus their attack on Ambrose who they keep stuck isolated in the ring. They keep fresh guys on him, utilizing quick tags, until finally Ambrose makes the tag to Reigns.

Reigns takes the hot tag and comes flying in and hitting the ropes, taking out Wyatt and Harper over and over again as the fans fire up inside the Barclays Center.

Harper slows Reigns’ momentum down with a sit-down powerbomb for a close near fall. Wyatt is alive again on the apron and is yelling instructions at Harper. Wyatt tags in and has Harper set Reigns up for a move. Reigns fights free and nails Wyatt with a Superman punch.
