The kick-ass video package airs for WWE SummerSlam 2015, focusing on New York City and then meshing with the top stories heading into tonight’s top matches.

We enter the arena and the pyro explodes like crazy at the top of the stage. The camera pans around and shows the excited fans inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Michael Cole says, “For the 28th consecutive year, we welcome you to WWE SummerSlam.” The camera pans around some more and then Randy Orton’s theme music hits.

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

Lilian Garcia jumps in and officially introduces Randy Orton. The Viper makes his way to the ring for tonight’s opening contest at WWE SummerSlam.

Cole introduces some of the announcers in other languages as Orton finishes his entrance. Then, the music of Sheamus hits. Mr. Money In The Bank, Orton’s opponent for tonight, makes his way to the ring.

The fans get on Sheamus back with “You look stupid” chants before the match even begins. Sheamus gets on the mic and says they’re wrong, he doesn’t look stupid, they look stupid. He tells them they will respect the hawk.

As Sheamus looks mean and tough at all the fans, Orton takes his legs out from under him and throws him in the ring. Orton blasts Sheamus with a dropkick so Sheamus rolls out to the floor. Orton goes out after him but Sheamus runs Orton into the ring post and then clotheslines him down.

Back in the ring, Sheamus establishes control over Orton and begins to stomp away on him. The fans are chanting something at Sheamus but the announcers are talking over it. Sheamus plays to the crowd and they boo like crazy. It’s a lively audience in the Barclays Center this evening.

Sheamus hits some back-breakers on Orton and yells out, “Are you not entertained?!” The fans boo him in response. Orton starts to show some signs of life, headbutting his way away from Sheamus, but Sheamus catches Orton coming off the ropes with a big knee to the mid-section. Sheamus continues to go to work on The Viper.

Orton starts fighting back again and dumps Sheamus over the top rope and out to the floor out of nowhere. We see some replays of that as Orton brings Sheamus back in the ring and blasts him with punches in the corner. Sheamus slams Orton down out of nowhere and takes back control of the offense. Sheamus gets Orton in a cloverleaf submission but Orton gets to the ropes.

Orton gets up and catches Sheamus coming off the ropes with a quick snap-powerslam for a momentum-changing near fall. Orton and Sheamus both get up and Orton runs at Sheamus. Sheamus moves but Orton catches him and gets him on the middle ropes for his draping DDT. He blasts him with it and starts changing into Viper Mode.

The fans start chanting “RKO! RKO! RKO!” but Sheamus senses it coming and ducks out to the floor. Orton grabs Sheamus and now the two are fighting on the apron on opposite sides of the ropes. Sheamus slingshots himself into the ring, but he slingshots himself right into an RKO from Orton. Orton goes to cover Sheamus but Sheamus rolls out to the floor on instinct.

Orton sees Sheamus down and starts thinking. We slowly figure out that he’s setting Sheamus up for the big punt. Sheamus senses it coming and avoids it. He hits Orton with White Noise for a near fall. Now both guys are down.

The fans fire up again with “You Look Stupid!” chants in defeaneing fashion directed at Mr. Money In The Bank. Sheamus sets Orton up for the Brogue Kick but Orton avoids it. Orton goes for the RKO but Sheamus avoids it. Sheamus blasts Orton with two Brogue Kicks. 1-2-3. Sheamus wins.

WWE Tag-Team Championship
The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. The Prime Time Players (c)

We hear The New Day members talking on the mic behind the scenes. Finally, their music hits and they come out. They stop half way down the ramp and each take turns cutting a promo about hip-hop. They say Brooklyn doesn’t know anything about hip-hop. They say hip-hop originated in the south. The fans boo. The New Day get in the ring and on harmonica’s they sing and play and sing “Let’s hear it for New Day!” They continue to sing other words together to the tune of “Let’s hear it for New York!” the Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song.

After doing a big New Day rocks chants, The Lucha Dragons’ music hits and out they come. Out next are Los Matadores, accompanied by El Torito. Finally, the WWE Tag-Team Champions The Prime Time Players make their way down to the ring for this fatal four-way tag-team match for the WWE Tag-Team Championships.

The bell rings and here we go. Big E. and Titus O’Neil start things off. O’Neil decides against competing and tags in Kofi Kingston. A bunch of cluster-f stuff happens and when the smoke clears, one of the Lucha Dragons and Kofi Kingston end up going at it. Sin Cara hits a springboard spot off the middle ropes onto Kingston for a near fall.

Kalisto tags in and he and Sin Cara do a couple double-team flip spot on Kingston for another near fall. Kingston tags in Big E. Big E. and Kalisto go at it now as replays show the double-team spot that just happened.

There’s a big spot where Big E. takes out Darren Young through the ropes and onto the floor. And they crashed hard. Los Matadores enters the match for the first time so far and he goes to work on an already beaten down Young.

Xavier Woods, who is not in the match, is babbling like a mad man outside the ring, and the camera zooms in for some of it just now. Meanwhile, in the ring, Kingston establishes control of the offense of Young as Woods brags about how good New Day is.

Woods yells that you hate to see something bad like that happen to Darren Young after Big E. runs right through Young, who has amounted to basically a tackling dummy in this match so far tonight. Young finally starts showing some signs of life, blasting Big E. with chops, however Big E. drops Young with a big elbow. Big E. tags in Kingston as Woods babbles from the floor again.

Young catches Kingston coming off the top and he finally makes the tag to Titus O’Neil. O’Neil takes the hot tag and is taking out everyone in sight with big boots and clotheslines and slams. They start coming off the top rope at Titus, but he catches them and slams them down with authority. Titus is an absolute beast right now and the fans in the Barclays Center are cheering for him like crazy.

Woods interferes behind the referee’s back and knocks one of the Matadores off the top rope. El Torito tries to jump on him but Woods catches him and takes him out. Young takes out Woods. Big E. comes through the ropes and splashes onto everyone for good measure.

Back in the ring, the legal men are Titus O’Neil and one of the Los Matadores. The fans chant “This is Awesome! This is Awesome!” as we see bodies laying everywhere. A bunch of guys get in the mix now on one of the corners. O’Neil ends up suplexing about four guys down off the top rope by himself. O’Neil hits the Clash of the Titus but Kingston hits a big kick out of nowhere. He covers him. 1-2-3. We have new champs.
