On Monday, WWE announced another NXT TakeOver special for later this year.
The company will be taking over Toronto in mid-August, as NXT TakeOver: Toronto has been announced for Saturday, August 10th at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show will air live via the WWE Network as part of WWE SummerSlam 2019 weekend.
Longtime WWE COO and Superstar and the man behind the black-and-gold brand, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, took to Twitter this afternoon to announce the big news.

“[NXT] is prepared to take over #SummerSlam weekend,” wrote Triple H via his official Twitter page on Monday. “Get ready for [NXT TakeOver: Toronto] LIVE from the [Scotiabank Arena] on Saturday, August 10th.”
Triple H continued, “Tickets go on sale THIS Friday at 10am. #WeAreNXT @WWENXT.”
