Matt Pelletier, 35. Jesseman won her third title here in 2:41:01 after a Trials
qualifying 2:45:00 debut in 2011 and 2:38:13 showing last year. Pelletier, 35,
placed 3rd in 2012, 2nd last year and took the lead at 41K to post up in
2:17:02 six weeks after running 2:18-flat to win the Reykjavik Marathon in
Iceland. Glastonbury, CT’s Katie Edwards, 32, a mother of three, had her
children waiting by the finish line as she qualified for the Trials with a
runner-up 2:41:58 performance. The men’s half marathon was won by former Iona
ace Harbert Okuti in 1:05:15 after a three-way photo finish. Former George
