1972 – In Kansas City, Kansas; Danny Little Bear fought Harley Race to a draw in three falls and and Bob Orton defeated Billy Howard

1974 – In Minneapolis, Minnesota; AWA Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens went to a no contest with Billy Robinson & Geoff Portz; Baron Von Raschke beat Ric Flair and Greg Gagne beat Larry Hennig

1976 – In Omaha, Nebraska; AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel beat Chris Tayler and Jim Brunzell defeated Mad Dog Vachon.

1980 – In Atlanta’s Omni; NWA World Champion Harley Race defeated Georgia Heavyweight Champion Austin Idol and Mr. Wrestling #2 defeated NWA World Champion Harley Race in a non-title lights out match; in Minneapolis, Minnesota; AWA Champion Nick Bockwinkel beat Mad Dog Vachon via dq and in a Step Ladder Match, Dino Bravo beat Jerry Blackwell.

1981 – In Madison Square Garden, Pat Patterson defeated Sgt. Slaughter in an alley fight.

1983 – Tony Atlas defeated NWA Champion Ric Flair in a non-title match in the main event of a Georgia Championship Wrestling event in Akron, Ohio.

1987 – The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) defeated The RPMs in a tournament final in Lubbock, Texasto win the World Class Tag Team Title.

1994 – At the New Japan Pro Wrestling show at the Fukoaka Dome in Fukuoka, Japan; Rick Rude defeated Sting to win the WCW International World Heavyweight Title and Shinya Hashimoto defeated Tatsumi Fujinami to win the IWGP Heavyweight Title.

1998 – At a WCW Monday Nitro taping in Indianapolis, Fit Finlay won the WCW World TV championship from Booker T

2014 – At the Extreme Rules PPV, Bad News Barrett defeated Big E to win the Intercontinental Title.
