Nintendo Will Sell 63 Amiibo in One Package in Japan

Japanese Super Smash Bros. players looking to build up their Amiibo collections will have a new option next month, as Amazon Japan is planning to sell a box set featuring all 63 Smash Bros. figures.

Spotted by the fan site Japanese Nintendo, the “Dairantou Smash Bros. Series 63 Amiibo Set” will be available on Amazon Japan beginning December 7.

It not only contains every Super Smash Bros. character released for the Wii U and 3DS versions, but also the newly announced Ridley, Inkling, King K Rool and Piranha Plant. Only 50 sets will be produced, and a special poster will also included.

Not every Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character is included in the package, however. Counting Pokémon Trainer as one character, there are 74 fighters included in the game. They’ll all be getting Amiibo figures eventually, but newcomers like Simon and Richter Belmont haven’t made the jump to plastic just yet.

Also, considering Piranha Plant is not scheduled to be released until February of 2019, this box may ship later than that December 7 date.

Alongside the bundle, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches for Nintendo Switch on December 7. We recently had a chance to try out the game’s single-player World of Light mode, and we came away impressed. Check out our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Wiki for even more information on the game, including stages, characters, and new features.
