As noted, the announce team hyped at the end of the NXT Takeover Brooklyn main event that Johnny Gargano might have suffered a “dislocated knee” after he hit Tommaso Ciampa with a running knee which sent Gargano crashing into stage equipment.

Triple H then reiterated in the post-Takeover Facebook interview that Gargano might have suffered the dislocation, however, it appeared to be a storyline update.

Triple H also conducted a post-Takeover conference with members of the media, and during the conference Triple H said Gargano might have actually suffered a knee injury earlier in the match, forcing technical changes to the final moments of the bout.
