Speaking in a sincere interview with La Provence, Chilean midfielder Mauricio Isla admitted that he did not deserve to be a Juventus player, but that he hoped to remain with OM next season.

“Honestly, I am not good enough to play for one of the top ten clubs in the world. I am not a Juventus player because I do not deserve it… I do not know if the club will buy me. It is up to them to decide… The only thing that I can say is that I have been very happy during this year. There will be a meeting between my representatives and Juventus to see if I can stay at Marseille or if I find another club… I would like to stay for all the friends that I have made here and the life that I lead here.”
