Former Marseille man Mathieu Valbuena is set to undergo a medical with Lyon today after arriving in the French town last night.

He has agreed a 4 year contract with OL, but last night some details concerning the structure of payment of the transfer fee to Dynamo Moscow had yet to be finalised.

The fee is believed to be worth between €5m & €6m. Marseille in the meantime, who had previously retired Valbuena’s old #28 shirt, are considering going back on that decision after this supposed betrayal.
