Controversy over Hulk Hogan’s recent return to WWE television continues as several fans did not support WWE’s decision to reintroduce Hogan on WWE programming during Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. Hogan had been separated from WWE ever since racist comments that he had made in the past were discovered. When asked about Hogan’s recent WWE return by Heavy, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry stated his belief that “The Hulkster” has not earned his way back to WWE just yet. Henry is willing to forgive Hogan, but the former World Heavyweight Champion believes that Hogan should become more active in helping out black youths, and that he should be doing more to show that he has changed and wants another chance from WWE.
“To start, he needs to go to some of these black universities, to these
law students and let them grill him and own it and apologize. Not
because you got caught, but apologize because you honestly feel remorse.” Henry said.
Longtime WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler has been experiencing more success on WWE programming this year. Some fans may be aware of the fact that this former Intercontinental Champion now lives in Los Angeles, California, and she also works as a stand up comedian. While speaking with a CBS affiliate, Ziggler talked about balancing his full time WWE career with his rising comedy job. He also mentioned that he is in complete control of the creative when it comes to his comedy. Ziggler won the Intercontinental Championship and Raw Tag Team Championship earlier this year, and the evolution of Dolph’s time as a comedian is still hilarious to watch. One of the quotes from that interview can be read down below:
“It’s pretty nuts. I live for it, though. I’m a quick smart-mouth kind of
guy so my whole life I’ve been ready with a quick jab back, which is
all of social media now. I try to make it as fun as possible. As a kid,
being a smaller guy and getting bullied, I got used to zinging people
back and making them pay for it. You try to do that and also have fun,
because there’s so much negativity out there, and I don’t want to be
part of it.” said Ziggler.
Following the birth of her first daughter, Maria Kanellis is now back on WWE programming. She now accompanies her husband, Mike Kanellis, to the ring on 205 Live every Wednesday night. Some fans may remember hearing about a few claiming that an incident that Maria had with The Bella Twins several years ago prevented her from returning to WWE sooner than she did. While answering some questions from fans on Twitter during the weekend, Maria denied those rumors and said that she is eager to move on from incidents that took place in the past. Although any real life animosity between them appears to be gone now, perhaps an onscreen feud between The Bellas and Maria could take place very soon.
Don’t know what you are talking about. I work for WWE now. Past is prolong. I’m on chapter 14 years. Me and the Twins talk babies now. Love me some twin magic. But that Jimmy Fallon thing was freaky.???? https://t.co/wJxfUfQXDF
