During last nights AEW Dynamite main event, Jon Moxley officially became the number one contender for the AEW World Championship, defeating PAC in the finals of a brief, four-man tournament that kicked off last week.

Moxley suffered an injured eye after taking a spike to the face from the champion himself in the buildup to this week’s match, but was able to overcome the odds and score the victory with a Paradigm Shift.

The championship match between Moxley and Chris Jericho, which has been built up over the last month of television, will take place at AEW Revolution on February 29th.
