Niki McMorrough was formerly a diarist and writer for Lingerie Buyer magazine and the Sunday Telegraph, and was Head of Marketing for Ministry of Sound and Turner Broadcasting. Dreaming of a different path, she trained in lingerie design and business at London College of Fashion, London College of Printing, De Montfort University (Contour Fashion) and Royal Holloway University of London, finally giving up an award-winning career so that she could launch her own lingerie label.

Made by Niki’s first collection arrived in September 2006 to a selection of the world’s finest lingerie stores and earnt instant recognition for its hand-crafted, innovative approach. Every bra, corset and jewellery-piece was designed, cut, graded and marketed by Niki herself – and that’s not all, Niki actually sewed every bra and corset by hand, finishing each one with a gold hand-painted number label and personalised swing tag, making every piece completely unique.

There are now four distinct ranges that all carry the instantly recognisable “Made by Niki” signature of traditional corsetry inspired detailing reworked into ultra-desirable and modern must-have lingerie pieces that cater for every aspect of a women’s lifestyle. The most recent launch is the ultra-modern British Body-con range of Slinkies which now due to demand carries a wait-list on the Made by Niki website in anticipation of their launch later this month.

These Limited Editions are hand-numbered, look for the gold painted label. Built with traditional corsetry and bra-making techniques using historical fabrics, these quintessentially British designs convey hidden meaning and carry clever little details such as the multi-way & strapless options, reversible corsets, recycled Savile Row selvedge cuts and cute jewellery attachments. This hard-working collection is formed from super-strong, ultra sheer fabrics and traditional corsetry techniques.
