Kofi Kingston did not get to take part in the New Day’s unsuccessful bid to retain their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos at Hell In A Cell in Detroit.
Kingston was locked out of the cage for the Hell In A Cell match which featured brutal strikes on both sides. Xavier Woods and Big E used several props gathered from under the ring to attack the new champs, Jimmy and Jey Uso, including a cow bell, a trombone and a gong among other things.
The Usos retaliated with several kendo stick strikes and had Woods handcuffed at one point in the match.
