Days after he won his first X-Division title at Rebellion, Josh Alexander will defend his championship for the first time against former champion Ace Austin on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

Alexander pinned Austin in a three-way that also included another former X-Division titleholder in TJP. TJP had Austin beat until he was pulled out of the ring by Austin associate Madman Fulton, clearing the way for Alexander to hit his finisher and claim the title.

Austin will be looking for his third X-Division title reign.

Thursday’s show will also feature the return of Taylor Wilde to Impact for the first time in over a decade as she faces Kimber Lee. Wilde ran off Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, Lee and Susan after Purrazzo’s title defense Sunday over Tenille Dashwood.

While not announced as of yet, Thursday should also feature the fallout from AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defeating Rich Swann to become the Impact World Champion Sunday in addition to Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering defeating Fire N’ Flava for the Knockouts Tag Team titles.
