Humiliated By ‘Preventive Measure’ During Kanwar Yatra, 70 Muslim Families Leave UP Village

The violent clashes of the Kunwariyas have been making headlines across in north India.

In another development, as many as 70 Muslim families have reportedlyleft the village of Khailam in Bareilly in UP. This has happened after the police issued them ‘red cards’ and warned against creating trouble for Kanwariyas who passed through the Muslim-dominated area, on Thursday.

Along with the red cards, around 250 families, both Muslim and Hindu, were also asked to sign a ‘symbolic bond’ of Rs 5 lakh, reported News 18.
