In what appears to be a case of honor killing, a 21-year-old youth from Rajasthan’s Bikaner was abducted, tortured and murdered by the family of the girl whom he was in love with.

The victim, Saif Ali who worked at a fruit market, was abducted in a car by about eight people on Tuesday.

“From Rampura, he was taken to Karni Nagar industrial area, where he was severely beaten up by the accused persons. They broke his legs and punched him unconscious,” said district superintendent of police (SP) Sawai Singh Godara.
