Genk right-back Ángelo Preciado offered to Lille and Troyes

Ecuadorian right-back Ángelo Preciado has been offered to Ligue 1 sides LOSC Lille and Troyes from Belgian leaders Genk, as reported La Voix Du Nord.

Both Ligue 1 sides are on the hunt for a right-back, with Lille losing Akim Zedadka to Auxerre earlier last month. Lille, for whom the incumbent position is filled by Bafodé Diakité, have had no contact with Preciado. In the past, Tiago Djaló and Timothy Weah have filled in for this position, and Preciado is not thought to be on the radar for Paulo Fonseca, Lille’s manager.

Fast and technical, Preciado has 27 caps for Ecuador and played every one of their group games at Qatar 2022. He even registered an assist in the World Cup’s opening game, in Ecuador’s 2-0 win over the hosts in Doha.

The 24-year-old has also been offered to Troyes, a Ligue 1 side that was incidentally beaten by Lille in the French cup at the weekend. Troyes face Lille again in the league on Sunday.
