— In the first release of the new year, WWE has parted ways with former ECW referee Keenan Quinn. He was recently sent back to Florida Championship Wrestling when the decision was made to use a singular crew of referees every week, as opposed to a separate group of referees for each brand. The decision to pull back on the number of referees used was due to the company’s economic cutback initiative.
