L’Équipe report that 30-year-old French defensive midfielder Maxime Gonalons will not be remaining at Sevilla for next season, where spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan.

The French international dealt with a spate of injuries during his time in La Liga, preventing him from nailing down regular playing time.

Still under contract for another two seasons with AS Roma, Gonalons is expected to be loaned out by the Italian side again for the 2019/20 campaign, with his most likely destination being England and more specifically the Premier League.

The former Lyon captain is currently in contact with West Ham and Everton.
