Chris Jericho On Future New Japan Pro Wrestling Matches – "We'll See!"

Chris Jericho recently spoke with Proresu Today to promote his match with Kenny Omega at NJPW’s “Wrestle Kingdom” 12 pay-per-view event on January 4th, 2018.

According to Jericho, he “got Vince McMahon’s blessing” for the NJPW match when his last WWE contract expired. He thinks his match with Omega will be bigger than the Kazuchika Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito match, which takes place on the same show.

Also during the interview, Jericho confirmed reports that he is a “free agent” and is able to work wherever he wants.

When asked about future matches with New Japan Pro Wrestling, Jericho said: “(Our match) might never happen again. That gives it a different level of importance…I’ve said maybe me and Kenny will never happen again, but I never said I’d only do one match. I never said this would be my last match with New Japan. Wait and see.“
