Braun Strowman signs new multi-year contract with WWE

Braun Strowman is the latest wrestler to re-sign with WWE.

Strowman revealed the news in an Instagram post today: “Well I’m sure more than a few of you will like this announcement!!!!!!!! Here’s to 4 more years of being the hardest working and best big man in the whole damn industry and working for the Greatest promotion in the world the @wwe”

“#ILikeMillionDollarDealsWheresMyPenBiatchImSigning” was one of the hashtags Strowman used in his post.

At Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, Strowman defeated Bobby Lashley in a last man standing match. Strowman then took part in the number one contender’s battle royal on Raw the next night, making it to the final four before Seth Rollins eliminated Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton. Rollins will challenge for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) will turn 36 years old this September. he signed with WWE in 2013 and made his main roster debut in 2015.

Strowman won last year’s men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and also had a brief reign as Raw Tag Team Champion, winning the titles with 10-year-old Nicholas Cone at WrestleMania 34.
