Actress Jennifer Lawrence Selling UES Home For $14M: Reports

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Award-winning superstar actress Jennifer Lawrence is selling an Upper East Side penthouse that she bought in an under-the-radar deal in 2016, according to real estate listings and reports.

Lawrence listed the East 67th Street penthouse apartment with Compass for $15.4 million over the summer and knocked the price down to $14.2 million after just one month on the market, according to real estate listings.

The asking price represents a loss for Lawrence, who scooped up the property for $15.6 million, according to city real estate records. Lawrence purchased the apartment through a company called Monster 40 LLC, according to the records. The New York Post first reported on the “Hunger Games” star’s move to put the home on the market.

Lawrence’s Upper East Side penthouse is located atop The Laurel, a 30-story condo building on the corner of First Avenue and East 67th Street. The three-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bathroom duplex features 360-degree views, a kitchen outfitted with top-of-the-line appliances and a sizable outdoor space.

Residents of The Laurel have access to amenities such as a two-story fitness center, 50-foot lap pool, sauna, steam room, private storage and a parking garage.
