It is rare for WWE fans to see The Undertaker make any in-ring appearances, and it is even more rare for fans to see the WWE Legend in a match nowadays. The Undertaker is still looked at as one of the most respected veterans in the business, but the subject of his retirement from the professional wrestling has been speculated on for a while now, and it even looked like he may have retired after losing to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 last year. This proved to be untrue as The Undertaker made his return to the ring at WrestleMania 34 this past Sunday when he faced off against John Cena before defeating him in just slightly over two minutes. It was a triumphant return for “The Deadman.”
That match from earlier this week will not be The Undertaker’s final time competing in the ring. As it turns out, “The Phenom” will not only be wrestling again, but fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see The Undertaker back in the ring. WWE just recently announced that The Undertaker will return for another match at the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event taking place in the Middle East. It is an unfamiliar sight to see since “The Deadman” typically only competes at WrestleMania each year, but with The Undertaker proving that he is still not at all ready to close the door on WWE after returning to defeat John Cena this past weekend, perhaps The Undertaker has a number of matches he’ll be involved in soon.

As far as Undertaker’s opponent for the show is concerned, WWE confirmed in an announcement earlier today that he will be facing Smackdown star Rusev in a casket match at the event. The Greatest Royal Rumble features a 50-man Royal Rumble match, a match between John Cena and Triple H, and a slew of others matches planned for the show later this month. The Undertaker’s return to the ring will mark his first match ever against Rusev, and it should prove to be a fantastic attraction for the show. The Greatest Royal Rumble show will be taking place in Saudi Arabia on April 27th, and the event will also stream live on the WWE Network for fans all over the world.
