It has been quite the month for “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes as on September 1st during his ALL IN Event, which was a huge success, he defeated Nick Aldis to become the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. Aside from that, Cody won The IWGP United States Title last night at NJPW’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed Event when he defeated The Former IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson.
This is Cody’s first time winning the title. Robinson won it back in July. Because of Cody’s win, he is now a dual champion being both The IWGP United States Champion & The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. You can see how Cody won The IWGP United States Title in the videos below:
