Samoa Joe just concluded a feud with AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, but he has not been featured on SmackDown very much lately. Per reports from earlier in the week, it appears that this is likely due to an injury that Joe is dealing with at the moment. In a new post provided by WrestleZone, Joe has been wearing a walking boot on his leg ever since SmackDown 1000, which would seem to indicate that he has a foot/leg injury of some sort. Joe was also set to face Styles once more at WWE’s live events last week, but he ended up being pulled from those shows. No word on how long Joe is expected to remain on the shelf, so be sure to stay tuned for all additional new and updates on Joe’s in-ring status.
WWE’s historic all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution, will finally be airing on the WWE Network this Sunday night. Plenty of current and former female competitors will be coming in to wrestle on the show this weekend, so this will definitely be an event that fans will not want to miss. Fortunately for fans not currently subscribed to the WWE Network, the company has just announced that the first 30 minutes of Evolution will be streaming live on Twitter starting at 7pm ET. Stephanie McMahon has also noted that this will mark the first time that the company has broadcasted an event on their network and on social media. Evolution will be airing live on October 28th and will be emanating from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.

Evolution is not the only new show from WWE that fans have to look forward to this Sunday. The evening will also feature the premiere of House Hardy, which is a brand new series centered around Matt Hardy’s “Woken Universe.” Hardy has been releasing images taken from the production of the show over the past few weeks, but WWE has now just released a brand new teaser for the premiere episode. The Halloween-themed episode features favorites from Hardy’s family, as well as current and former WWE Superstar cameos. The show will be airing on the WWE Network immediately after the Evolution pay-per-view comes to an end on Sunday night, and it is also set to run for about thirty minutes or so.
