Some critics and fans alike were surprised after the Survivor Series beatdown of RAW Women’s Champ Ronda Rousey that Charlotte Flair seemed to go back to being a face on SmackDown Live on Tuesday, but those paying attention to her Twitter feed know better.
Flair followed up her Sunday night savagery at Survivor Series by giving the heel duo IIconics a beating on Tuesday. Flair shrugged off the $100,000 fine SmackDown General Manager Paige doled out to her with a smile, and then beat Billie Kay before challenging Peyton Royce to another match. In the second match, Billie Kay attacked Flair from behind to get Royce disqualified. The IIconics then ganged up on Flair. However, Flair seemed to have a throwback moment after that point, snapping again and ragdolling Kay and Royce around the outside of the ring into barriers and steel steps.
The WWE is trying to play up that all is not right with The Queen. It’s something she’s also teasing on Twitter. Flair has taken to quoting lines from Heath Ledger’s Joker character in The Dark Knight over the past week and continued to do so on Friday. She’s also taken to wearing clothing that’s a little darker as well. Here’s some of the tweets where Flair seems to be following the path of Ledger’s iconic movie baddie:

Their morals, their code; it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the 1st sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the ?? allows them to be. You’ll see- I’ll show u. When the chips are down these, civilized people? They’ll eat each other. See I’m not a monster, I’m just ahead of the curve. pic.twitter.com/n9LTg5QIcO
