Skra Belchatow had to fight at home with Rzesow to obtain 2 points. After the second weekend of polish league, Jastrzebski Wegiel is the leader of the table.
Skra Bełchatów – Asseco Resovia Rzeszów 3:2 (25:20, 13:25, 25:21, 22:25, 15:13) MVP: Bartosz Kurek
It was a hit of the round. Champion with vice-champion. Polish fans had some reasons to expect poor quality of this match, because in last years, Resovia have not won with Skra even one match. Futhermore, they have been able to get only a few sets during that time. In this season, Resovia is quite different team. Their new players (like Grzyb, Akhrem and Redwiz) appear to be valuable components of the team. They did very well, althought Rzeszów lost first set. After that, they showed fantastic game and beat Skra 25:13. Finally we had tie break, which was really hard for both teams. Polish champions was a bit better, so they won this meeting and got two points.

Delecta Bydgoszcz – Częstochowa 2:3 (25:23, 25:27, 31:29, 22:25 i 7:15) MVP: Dawid Murek
This result was really suprising. AZS, the team of young players with great star like Dawid Murek, shows us very ambitious attitude. With the new head coach they make very confident steps on their schedule way, winning match with theoretically stronger team such as Delecta. We have to add, that Bydgoszcz was deprived of one of their main players – MVP of Izmir, Piotr Gruszka got a little injury and he couldn’t take a part in the game. Great start of tie break (6:1 for AZS), let the guests easly carry the rest part of the set.
AZS Politechnika Warszawa – ZAKSA Kędzierzyn Koźle 0:3 (23:25, 21:25, 17:25) MVP: Michał Ruciak
These are two teams of totally different goals of this season. Zaksa want to be a medalist, Politechnika wishes to be in a play off zone. The first one didn’t have any problems with win three sets in a row and after that they have 3 more points. Kedzierzyn-Kozle is doing well in attack and service, in contrast to AZS – they have many problems with these elements. Match ended quickly and AZS will have to improve their skills to win some points during the next matches, when they will meet with some weaker teams.
Jadar Radom – Jastrzębski Węgiel 0:3 (21:25, 27:29, 23:25) MVP: Igor Yudin
Althought Jadar was really ambicious and fight in every action, the end of particular sets did belong to definitely stronger squad. Radom had good block and they keep their rivals very close until the end, when they started to loose their heads and made many mistakes. Pawel Abramov and Igor Yudin didn’t dissapoint in the most important moments. It looked like match could be longer, when Jadar didn’t give up in any second. but referee took one bad decision, which happened in neuralgic moment. Jastrzebski Wegiel finished the third and the last set and they came back to their city really satisfied.
Siatkarz Wieluń – AZS UWM Olsztyn 3:0 (25:13, 25:22, 25:18) MVP – Marcin Lubiejewski
Olsztyn is in big trouble. Fans of AZS expected victory with such a new team in PlusLiga. Instead of this, hosts was much better and they easily beat chaotic team of Olsztyn. If things don’t go better than this, AZS could not survive in elite of polish clubs. Siatkarz Wielun is happy, because these are first 3 points in their history of being in PlusLiga. Their strong weapon is serve and all of the teams have to be careful with this element when they will play with Wielun.
