Last night’s (7/1) episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network drew a 1.71 rating among live and same-night-DVR viewers, an improvement over the 1.66 rating the prior week and the best rating since the June 3 rating of 1.72. It’s the fourth rating of 1.70 or higher since the day after WrestleMania drew a 2.02.
The 1.71 is above last month’s average 1.64 and the May average of 1.66. The average rating so far this year is 1.78. The ten week rolling average heading into this week was 1.65.
The rating is still below the year-ago rating of 1.80 and the two-years-ago rating of 1.91.
The first-to-third hour drop-off was a mere 123,000, one of the lowest of the year and well below the 380,000 average. The show built toward a main event of A.J. Styles challenging Ricochet for the U.S. Title.
Its ranking among other cable shows on Monday night isn’t available yet.
