One young man uses edgy street graffiti, another has turned to humour and satire, a third uses angry rap to beat Thailand’s military junta censors and issue a defiant cry for democracy. 

The Thai authorities may be cracking down on the government’s political opponents ahead of a much-anticipated March 24 poll, but a young generation of talented artists is finding more creative ways to reach the electorate and express their dissent against the regime. 

Their actions are all the bolder in a country where freedom of speech has been seriously curbed since the military took control in a 2014 coup, and rebellion can end with a jail term.
