If you look at the map of India, the tiny northeastern state of Meghalaya makes up just a small portion of it, but it turns out the state has a much larger role in the history of our planet earth.

According to scientists we are currently living in the ‘Meghalayan Age’ of the earth’s history. As per geologists, this phase of earth began some 4,200 years ago, and continues till today.
