Meet 19-Year-Old Ravija Singal, Youngest Asian Woman To Win Iron Man Title In Australia

Nashik had another reason to feel proud on Sunday as Ravija Singal (19) from the city became the youngest Asian woman to bag the Iron Man title at Busselton, Australia.

She is also the first woman from Nashik to bag the title. Her father, Nashik police commissioner Ravinderkumar Singal, had bagged the Iron Man 2018 title in France on August 26.

The event included 3.8km swimming, 180km cycling and 42.2km running, which had to be completed in 17 hours. Ravija finished it in 16:05:45. A national-level swimmer, Ravija had also become the youngest half Iron Man from Nashik on February 18 this year.
