Drug Inspector Shot Dead In Punjab Allegedly For Cancelling Medical Shop’s Licence 10 Years Ago

The shocking daylight murder of a woman drug inspector in Punjab has revealed the story of a grudge a man was holding against her for nearly ten years.

Neha Shorie, a senior official with the Drug and Food Chemical Laboratory in Kharar, was shot dead inside her office.

Shorie, who was posted with the Drug and Food Chemical Laboratory and dealt with licensing in Mohali and Ropar districts, was shot at by a man identified as Balwinder Singh, a resident of Morinda.
