The NFCA is pleased to announce the release of the 2016 Convention videos in the NFCA Store and via coachtube.com. The NFCA Convention videos feature 12 of the presentations filmed in New Orleans.
The 2016 New Orleans Convention digital downloads and DVDs are available online. All Convention attendees will receive two complimentary videos, “Rising in the Coaching Ranks“ by Joanna Hardin, University of Virginia and the “Drills, Drills, Drills” session featuring: Kim Borders Dunlap, Campbellsville University; Megan Smith, University of Kansas; and Stacy Nuveman Deniz, San Diego State University.
The digital downloads are made possible through the continued partnership with the online educational website CoachTube. The NFCA currently partners with CoachTube to house and distribute their online educational materials. This partnership has increased awareness and eased access of education for NFCA member coaches.
“Coaching education is one of the main NFCA pillars. Our partnership with CoachTube has allowed the NFCA to deliver quality, relevant softball education digitally and provides coaches with information at their fingertips,” said NFCA Executive Director Carol Bruggeman. “CoachTube’s innovative staff is impressive. Their website is user-friendly and provides relevant NFCA content in an easy-to-view format. We are excited about our current and future digital educational opportunities with CoachTube.”
CoachTube provides access to online videos and training from top coaches around the world. Their revolutionary concept was created by founder Wade Floyd to empower coaches and streamline education. The site houses NFCA Convention videos dating back to 2012. Other NFCA educational videos are also available on the site, including the newest scoring and rules video “How to Maximize Strategy” utilizing the DP/Flex rule featuring Rachel Lawson, University of Kentucky.
“We are exited to now give softball coaches world-wide access to the very best coaching training on demand, on any device, on CoachTube,” said founder Wade Floyd, “this could only be possible with such a fantastic partner as the NFCA.”
