As noted, the premiere episode of World of Sport Wrestling on ITV garnered 937,000 viewers across ITV, ITV+1 and ITV HD.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, even though ITV pushed the premiere episode as a success, the internal feeling is the number is a disappointment without being a total disaster. The report adds the fate of the show beyond three weeks will be determined by the ratings in the coming weeks.
