— John “Big” Gaburick, the face of the old Tough Enough series, apparently still works with WWE in some sort of capacity. He and other WWE executives including Johnny Ace, producer Kevin Dunn, and talent scout Ty Bailey are in Florida today for the first TV taping of WWE’s developmental league Florida Championship Wrestling. John Cena, Chris Jericho, Kelly Kelly and WWE Hall-of-Famers Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Rocky Johnson & Gerald Brisco will also be on hand for the event.
— Florida Championship Wrestling plans on taping television every other Thursday. Fans interested in going to the event have to wait in line until 4:00 p.m. as they told fans who called in that they were not selling them in advance.

— Jake Roberts has been posting reviews of Raw on his MySpace page the past three weeks. He wants to see more wrestling and less talking, as he actually tallies the number of minutes of wrestling action on Raw. Roberts wrote, “Tonight we’ve had a DQ, a count out, a girl-boy match, a lost match, an impromptu match, and Noble non-match, no referee. Tonight we had over 33 minutes of wrestling. A fluke? I hope not. Whatever the reason, I thank you. Still would be sweeter with more. Matches still don’t get enough time, and that’s how you make stars. Giving them time to establish exhibit show-ability and create character.” You can read his review for this past week’s Raw at this link.
