Note: A match between WWE Intercontinental Champion John Bradshaw Layfield and Rey Mysterio is expected to be announced next week as Michael Cole said on commentary this past Monday that Mysterio has issued a challenge to JBL at WrestleMania. However, as Cole said, JBL has yet to accept the match. JBL has teased doing something ‘historic’ at the “25th Anniversary of WrestleMania” in recent weeks.
— John Cena will be a special guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight at 12:05 ET on ABC. The Raw Superstar will be on hand to promote his new movie, 12 Rounds, which opens in theaters nationwide next Friday, March 27. He was originally scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, but the show’s producers nixed his appearance when U.S. President Barack Obama agreed to do the show. No word yet if or when Cena will be rescheduled. (John Cena joins Jimmy Kimmel tonight)
— After being out of action for nearly five months due to an ankle injury, Evan Bourne made his return to the ring on Tuesday’s edition of ECW on Sci Fi in a win over Jamie Noble.
