Thunder Rosa will take on Britt Baker at the AEW Dynamite special Beach Break on February 3.

The match was set tonight during Dynamite. After a confrontation between Jade Cargill and Red Velvet on her talk show The Waiting Room, Baker showed footage of her attacking Thunder Rosa backstage several weeks ago. A new video of Thunder Rosa then played. She told Baker that their match needed a bigger platform, and after talking to Tony Khan, the match was now set for Beach Break. Baker then ended the talk show, saying that the match wasn’t happening.

Rosa vs. Baker was set to take place on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. However, Thunder Rosa stayed at home during last week’s tapings after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. An NWA Women’s title match between champion Serena Deeb and Tay Conti took place instead.

The wedding between Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian is also set for Beach Break.
