WrestleMania 29 Already Breaking Records, Vickie Remembers Eddie, Zeke

– Vickie Guerrero tweeted the following on Monday about Tuesday being the 7 year anniversary of her husband Eddie Guerrero’s passing:

“I have been feeling “off” with many emotions. Tomorrow will be 7 years since Eddie’s passing. I wish I was home with my girls”

– Ezekiel Jackson, who has been out of action for several months with an injury, mentioned on Twitter that he’s begun working out with weights again.

– WWE broke two company records with the first day of WrestleMania 29 ticket sales. Saturday’s launch saw WWE sell 52,029 tickets, which broke the previous company record, which was for WrestleMania 18 (2002) in Toronto, which sold 51,620 tickets on day one.

The 52,029 tickets sold also helped WWE break the company record for the highest single-day gross ticket revenue, taking in more than $10 million. This beats last year’s record, when WrestleMania 28 for Miami generated $6.3 million in revenue on the first day tickets were on sale.
