There have been an absurd amount of rumors and speculation surrounding Rey Mysterio and a possible return at WrestleMania, with some sources even saying he’s being groomed to face John Cena if The Undertaker can’t compete. Well, it looks like the reports no longer matter, as Mysterio apparently suffered a pretty serous injury at a recent event (DETAILS).

This weekend is WWE Fastlane, or the final pay-per-view event before WrestleMania, not to mention the final Smackdown brand exclusive pay-per-view for the foreseeable future. AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship in a chaotic 6-Pack challenge which now includes John Cena, and we should have a pretty solid look at the ‘Mania card by this time next week.

The New Japan Cup kicks off on Friday with three straight days of shows. There will be two first round matches on each show, some of the stand-outs including Michael Elgin vs. Tomohiro Ishii and Tetsuya Naito vs. Zack Sabre Jr. Opening night will feature English commentary. (DETAILS)

This Thursday night IMPACT Wrestling presents a special “Crossroads” episode which will bridge the gap between major pay-per-view events.
